Deborah's story...
Deborah, a dental therapist at Whittington Health NHS Trust, applied for a grant after noticing the charity on her workplace intranet. She needed support to fund a course essential for her NHS role. With help from our team, she secured funding, upgraded her skills, and ultimately contributed to improving care for patients.
To retain my role and progress within the NHS, I found a course that is specific to me. It will update my skill set, increase my knowledge base, and provide me with new information. I applied for a grant and was supported through the process by a very helpful member of the trustee board, and ultimately, I was rewarded.
Once completed, I will have secured my position in my current role and be able to develop further for the ultimate benefit of our patients. I would not have been able to afford this course, and I am so incredibly grateful to Thank You Healthcare Staff for providing this opportunity.
